On Monday, August 24, 2015 the US Market opened to a 1,000 point drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Circuit breakers at the New York Stock Exchange sporadically halted trading. Some ETFs, which are the primary investment vehicle used by Toroso in its strategies, were trading at significant discounts to its underlying securities. And the major news feeds all broke into the regularly scheduled programming to “report” the news. Our clients, rightly so, have asked whether Toroso was prepared.
